Sometimes, it's nice to go back to where you started.
Today was freezing cold (-3 deg C), so who knows why I decided to go back to Dunstable TeamSport, which as anyone will tell you who races there, is even colder from the fresh air blowers they have to deal with the indoor petrol fumes. It felt like -15 in front of them!
The karts were cold, the tyres were cold, the track was cold, I was cold. In short, cold, cold, cold.
Even so, I grabbed a 38.0 in the 20 minute race. Not bad at all considering I haven't been for the last 4 months.
It was nice to see that they'd re-worked the walls and finally put up the race times. Dunstable is a great place to start karting, with a super team.
